More attempts at communication with Pet Rescue staff

  1. I would love to comment. I live in Eastern Oregon and volunteer with a highly successful animal rescue that is high save open door. I wont go in to great detail because I had the UN pleasure of speaking to Mr. Beau Puttman today. I reached out after many requests from other concerned animal lovers. I offered to help Mr. Puttnam as a large donor and supporter or our local rescue my family has long ties with other rescue groups that has opened the door even more lives being saved. Mr. puttnam REFUSED my offer to help him. I heard his shelter was full today I offered to drive at my own expense and help lighten his load. I could promise him they would all find forever homes. He wanted to speak to the director of our local rescue so since I was at the rescue I handed my phone to the director he spoke to Mr. Puttnam who I could here being very rude to our director and then Mr. Puttnam hung up on our director. I was applaud at such rude unprofessional behavior. We all were offering to help Mr. Puttnam STOP killing animals apparently every single thing everyone has heard about him is true. SADLY true. Who in their right mind would KILL animals instead of letting other rescues help. One would have to ask yourself really what kind of person would do that? Really go ahead ask yourself and think about it a minute KIlling puppies, kittens healthy dogs and cats just because you can kind of person. That is Wrong.
Every person in your community should be in your government offices demanding he stop its your tax dollars they are giving him. Demand it to stop day in and day out. I know it can be done it was done here over night from high kill to high save. It was not easy but it was and has been done. Not everyone my agree with high save but again one must ask" What kind of person would kill an animal instead of find them a forever home.?" Oh and it should not matter the mood your in its a life Gods creature. The director at this rescue worked all of 2014 with no pay so all the animals got care and employees got paid. A donor paid for his living expenses. So once again It can be done if you want to do the right thing. It is sad that Mr. Putman would not take the offer of help our rescue has 28 open kennels if he kills 28 because he doesn't have space after being offered help he should be ashamed of himself.
